Wil's musical history has two rewarding eras: his work as a singer for two highly recognized Cuban groups, Cumbre and Maraca, and for the past four years, leading his own orchestra, Wil Campa y Su Gran Union. His music is influenced by the styles of the 40s and 70s, and his own style is a mix of both generations' rhythms, creating the Son. A story that began in the Cuban countryside has taken him all over the world. Wil has the heartfelt acceptance of the Cuban people, for his passion and eagerness to keep the Son alive.
